50% is the share represented by the transportation of Big visitors.
This is the proportion of an event's carbon footprint accounted for by visitor transportation. It is therefore essential to offer participants low-emission transportation options and encourage them to choose these.
To help you choose the most suitable mode of transport, check out the ADEME Simulator, which calculates the carbon impact of your journey based on your mode of transport.

Responsible shuttle service
20 Big-branded bicycle taxis will be stationed at the Accor Arena. The idea is to offer participants a way to get around Paris using a sustainable mode of transport.

Climate found militant leaders!

The Coq Vert community is a community of business leaders who are convinced of the need to take action and are already committed to the ecological and energy transition. Launched by Bpifrance, in partnership with ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) and the French Ministry for Ecological Transition, the Community aims to encourage the sharing of expertise between committed entrepreneurs.

OUR CSR COMMITMENTS

Bpifrance, the climate bank, has made exemplary sustainable development a major focus for the organization of the 11th edition of Big. Based on six of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and together with our partners, we are making ten commitments.


1. Encourage sustainable mobility through the use of environmentally friendly modes of transport and public transportation.



2. Promoting better living together: accessibility, inclusion, diversity, equality, and diversity.



3. Reduce the number of goodies distributed at the event and offer an alternative with items from the Big Boutique, which are made in France using traditional craftsmanship.



4. Limit the use of single-use plastic.


5. Prioritize responsible catering with local, seasonal products and vegetarian options.

6. Rent, reuse, or recycle furniture and signage.


7. Improve waste management by providing recycling bins for each type of waste identified at the event. 

8. Measure Big's CSR impact through carbon footprint assessments and indoor air quality measurements.

9. Limit paper use by offering a digital library.

10. Raise awareness among all stakeholders about eco-responsibility.

Jour E is the event organized by Bpifrance that brings together committed company executives that wish to take action and accelerate their ecological and energetic transition.
